Getting to Ventnor

Reaching Ventnor is simple.

If you’re travelling as a foot passenger, our Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier Head FastCat service gets you across the Solent in just 22 minutes. From Ryde, hop on the Island Line train to Shanklin, then connect by bus or taxi for the short journey south to Ventnor. Alternatively, you can jump on a bus directly from Ryde.

Bringing the car? Sail from Portsmouth to Fishbourne in around 45 minutes, then enjoy one of the Island’s most scenic drives as you wind your way through rolling countryside before the sea comes back into view.

With regular sailings, comfortable lounges, food and drink on board and short crossing times, getting to Ventnor is all part of the adventure.
